What I will (or may?) put on this page (eventually):
I'm involved in scientific programming using the C language - so you'll
be able to find stuff about that here.
During my industrial placement I did a lot of intranet stuff. So I'm sure to go on about cgi scripts and things.
My computer is a sketchy home-built thing. I plan to share details
of it's hardware here i.e. it's overclocked and probably overheating Pentium
chip.
I have a vague interest in heuristic optimisation techniques (e.g. Genetic Algorithms) which I expect will be also mentioned some where on this page once it has evolved a little more.
In the past I have used Perl, and I quite like it.
In an ideal world I would exculsively use some varient or Linux on my home PC. Unfortunately, I can't find Linux drivers for all of my hardware, and I do like Microsoft Office (Except the bugs of course). So, I have a system which dual boots to Windows 95 and the Slackware distribution of Linux. I think I'm about to swap over to the FreeBSD OS soon though. I expect I'll put a reference or two about that in this page.
The moral of this story is: Wait until I've finished this page (or added
anyting to it...) and come and have another look.
This
page has been visited times, but who really cares?
This page was created by Stewart Adcock (That's me!) on 25th February.
It may have been updated since then, but if it has I haven't altered this
message. I probably forgot.
